How does porta potty rental work, from booking to pickup?

Porta potty rental takes one phone call to book. You give your ZIP code, dates and head count, the unit arrives clean on the day you choose, rentals over one week are serviced weekly, and pickup happens Monday for events or when you request it for long-term rentals.

  1. Call or text

Lines open. Give your ZIP code, dates and head count. You get an itemized quote while you are on the phone.

  2. Same-day cutoff

Orders placed by noon go out today. Mark a flat spot the truck can reach within 30 feet: a cone or chalk X is enough.

  3. Delivery

The driver calls about 30 minutes ahead and texts a photo once the unit is placed. You do not need to be home.

  4. Weekly service

Rentals longer than a week are pumped, cleaned and restocked on the same weekday they arrived.

  5. Pickup

Weekend event units are collected Monday. Long-term renters call or text to schedule pickup and stop billing.

Full details on gates, codes and billing are in the rental terms.

How many porta potties do I need for my event?

Plan 1 standard porta potty for every 50 guests at an event of 4 hours or less, and 1 for every 40 guests when the event runs longer. Add 1 unit for every 4 when alcohol is served. Include at least 1 wheelchair-accessible unit.

Example: a 120-guest birthday party for 5 hours with beer needs 3 units for the guests (120 ÷ 40) plus 1 for alcohol, so 4 units. One of them should be wheelchair-accessible.

Construction crews follow the OSHA table instead: 1 unit for up to 20 workers. See the full sizing guide for jobsites, multi-day festivals and weddings.

Where in Biloxi do you deliver porta potties?

We deliver porta potties to every Biloxi neighborhood and ZIP code: 39530, 39531, 39532, 39534 and 39535. That includes the peninsula from Point Cadet to Edgewater, Back Bay, and the new subdivisions north of the bay off Popp's Ferry Road, Brodie Road and Woolmarket Road.

New construction north of I-10 (Kingsley Ridge, Crystal Bay, Avery Bay and the Woolmarket subdivisions) often has unpaved lots. After rain we place units on the driveway pad or a sheet of plywood so the service truck does not rut the yard. Deliveries on Keesler Air Force Base need a driver pass, so allow 2 business days.

What should you plan for when renting in Biloxi?

Four Biloxi facts change a porta potty rental: city event permits for public property, hurricane season from June through November, summer heat that calls for more frequent service, and four peak weekends that book up early. Plan around these and the rental runs smoothly.

Event permits

Events on public property in Biloxi need a special event application through the Biloxi Police Department. Restrooms are required unless enough public restrooms will be open nearby. Large events must file 60 to 120 days ahead. City application (PDF).

Hurricane season

Hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30. When a watch is issued, units are strapped or picked up, and nothing goes back out until roads are clear. Read what happens to rented units in a storm.

Summer heat

Biloxi summers run in the low 90s with heavy humidity, which speeds up odor. Place units in shade when you can. Crews of 10 or more in July and August do better with two services a week. See heat and odor tips.

Peak weekends

Mardi Gras parades, July 4th weekend, the Biloxi Seafood Festival in September and Cruisin' The Coast in October book up first. Reserve 3 to 6 weeks ahead for those dates. Any other week, two days' notice is plenty.

Porta potty rental questions from Biloxi renters

How much does it cost to rent a porta potty in Biloxi?

A standard porta potty for an event starts at $225 plus tax. That covers delivery, a Friday-to-Monday rental and pickup anywhere in Harrison and Jackson counties. Jobsite and long-term units start at $199 per 28 days with weekly cleaning included, plus a one-time $75 delivery and pickup fee. See the full porta potty rental cost guide.

Can I get a porta potty delivered today in Biloxi?

Yes. Call by 12 noon, Monday through Saturday, and a standard unit can be delivered the same day anywhere in Biloxi. A $75 same-day dispatch fee is shown on the quote before you pay. After noon, the earliest is usually first thing the next morning. Here is how same-day delivery works.

Do you deliver on Saturday or Sunday for a weekend party?

Trucks run Monday through Saturday, never Sunday. For a weekend event we drop the unit off Friday (or Thursday) and pick it up Monday. You pay one event price, not a daily rate, so a Sunday rain date costs nothing extra.

Is the porta potty price per day?

No. Event rentals are one flat price for the whole weekend. Jobsite and long-term rentals bill every 28 days, and the price is the same whether you keep the unit 5 days or 28. There is no proration and no hourly charge.

Do I need to be home when the porta potty is delivered?

No. Mark the spot with a cone, flag or chalk X and leave the gate unlocked or text us the code. The driver calls about 30 minutes before arriving and texts a photo after placing the unit.

How often is a jobsite porta potty cleaned?

Once a week, included in the 28-day price. Each visit pumps the tank, washes and disinfects the inside, adds deodorizer and restocks toilet paper and sanitizer. Crews of 10 or more in July and August often add a second weekly visit for $45 per unit.

Do I need a permit to put a porta potty in Biloxi?

A unit on your own private property does not need a permit. Street festivals, park events and other events on public property go through the Biloxi Police Department's Special Events Coordinator. The application asks how many portable toilets you will have and who the rental company is. Read the Biloxi special event permit guide.

What happens to my rental if a hurricane is coming?

When a hurricane or tropical storm watch is issued for the Mississippi coast, we contact every renter. Units are strapped down or picked up before the storm. If you followed our instructions, you are not charged for storm damage to the unit.

Do you rent flushing toilets or units with a sink?

Yes. The deluxe unit has a flushing toilet, a foot-pump sink, soap and paper towels, and needs no hookups. For weddings, a restroom trailer adds porcelain toilets, running water, lights and air conditioning. It needs a garden hose and one standard outlet.

How do I end a long-term rental and stop billing?

Call or text (206) 238-2473 and tell us your pickup date. Billing stops at the end of the current 28-day cycle, and the unit is picked up within 2 business days. Units are never picked up without your request, so you are not charged for time you did not use.
