Rental Terms and Cancellation Policy

These terms cover every rental from Jonah Portable Toilets Rental. In short: no deposit, one itemized price, event rentals run Friday to Monday, long-term rentals bill every 28 days until you ask for pickup, and cancellations 48+ hours ahead get a full refund.

Quotes and payment

Every quote lists the unit, rental period, delivery, pickup, service and Mississippi sales tax. Event rentals are paid in full at booking. Long-term rentals pay the first 28-day cycle at booking and each later cycle at its start. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Approved contractor accounts may pay by invoice, net 15. No deposit is required.

Rental periods

Event rentals cover delivery up to the Friday (or earlier on holiday weeks) before the event through Monday pickup. Long-term rentals run in 28-day cycles from the delivery date with no proration and renew automatically until you request pickup.

Delivery and access

Trucks run Monday through Saturday, 7 AM to 7 PM. The customer provides a flat, firm spot within about 30 feet of where the truck can park, an unlocked gate or the gate code, and a clear path. If the truck cannot place or service the unit, a $75 trip fee applies. The customer is responsible for permits on public property.

Same-day orders

Same-day delivery is available on orders placed by 12 noon in Harrison and Jackson counties and often in Hancock, Stone and George counties. A $75 same-day fee applies. If a confirmed same-day delivery is missed, the fee is refunded.

Servicing

Rentals longer than one week are serviced weekly on the delivery weekday. Extra service visits are $45 per unit. Event units are delivered clean and stocked and are not serviced unless ordered.

Renewal, pickup and stopping billing

Call or text (206) 238-2473 to request pickup. Billing stops at the end of the 28-day cycle in which you request pickup, and pickup happens within 2 business days. Units are never removed without a request on long-term rentals.

Cancellation and changes

Cancel 48 hours or more before delivery for a full refund. Cancel between 24 and 48 hours before delivery for a 50% refund. No refund inside 24 hours or for same-day orders once the truck is dispatched. Date changes and added units are free up to 24 hours before delivery, subject to availability.

Damage and loss

Normal wear is our responsibility. The renter pays repair or replacement cost for units that are burned, vandalized, tipped through misuse, moved and damaged, or lost. We are not responsible for damage to pavers, landscaping, concrete or asphalt caused by placing or servicing a unit at the spot the renter chose.

Storms

When a hurricane or tropical storm watch is issued for the Mississippi coast, we may strap down or pick up units and will contact you first. Renters who follow our storm instructions are not charged for storm damage to the unit.

Use

Do not put trash, paint, chemicals, grease or sharp objects in the tank. Do not move units without a hand truck. A hasp may be fitted for your padlock; leave a key on site on service days.
