A 5-hour wedding with a bar needs about 1 restroom per 40 guests, plus 1 for every 4 because of alcohol. A 150-guest wedding needs 5 units: 4 for the guests and 1 for the bar, with one of them wheelchair-accessible. A 3-stall restroom trailer covers the same 150 guests.
| Guests | Flushing units (5 hrs, bar) | Or restroom trailer |
|---|---|---|
| 50 | 3 | Single-stall or 2-stall |
| 100 | 4 | 2-stall |
| 150 | 5 | 3-stall |
| 200 | 7 | 4-stall |
| 250 | 9 | 4-stall + 1 unit for staff |
Add one standard unit for caterers and band so staff are not in the guest line. Run your exact numbers in the wedding restroom calculator.
Restroom trailer or flushing porta potties for a wedding?
Choose a restroom trailer for receptions over about 100 guests, evening events and formal venues: guests get porcelain toilets, running water, lighting and A/C. Choose flushing porta potties with sinks when the site has no water or power, the ground is soft, or the guest count is under 100.
A trailer needs a garden hose and one 110-volt outlet within about 100 feet, plus level ground a truck can reach. Barns and farm venues on the Coast often have both near the equipment shed. Compare trailer sizes on the restroom trailer page and see the deluxe flushing unit.

Wedding restrooms should go 50 to 150 feet from the reception, downwind and out of the ceremony photo line, on firm, level ground with a lit path. A restroom trailer needs space for the truck to back in, so pick the spot before tents and tables go up.
- Beachfront weddings: trailer on the parking lot or drive, never on loose sand.
- Evening receptions: string lights or path lights to the door.
- Rain plan: plywood or a mat at the steps keeps mud off dresses.

Questions people ask before they book
How early should I book wedding restrooms?
Six weeks or more for April, May, October and November weekends. Trailers are limited and those months fill first.
Will the trailer be set up before the ceremony?
Yes. Trailers are delivered and leveled the day before, so nothing arrives during your event.
What if the venue has no power?
We can bring a quiet generator for the trailer for an added fee, or you can use flushing porta potties that need no power.
Can someone keep the restrooms stocked during the reception?
Yes. Attendant service is available for long receptions and 200+ guests. Ask for a quote.
Do you deliver to farm venues north of I-10?
Yes. Farm and barn venues in Saucier, Vancleave, Wiggins and Kiln are regular stops, as long as a truck and trailer can reach the spot.
